Howcommonismyname.com is the brain child of bob oshady. It originally existed around 6 years ago offering the exact same service it does now - a very simple, very quick name database - and came about after googling for random names proved some to be much more popular (based on the number of results) than others.
Howcommonismyname.com was tragically lost entirely a few years ago, thanks entirely to our own lax approach to moving the domain between registrars....however we finally managed to nab it back, and put the site back up, albeit with a ground-up rewrite.
As with most of our projects, this site has started off as a very simple, very quick job that we're constantly looking to improve - if you have any ideas or suggestions, please let us know on website@howcommonismyname.com.
Whilst bob oshady came up with the idea and put the whole site together, the design is heavily based on the wonderful work of Mr Free CSS Templates. I've used this guy's designs on several projects, and they're always easy to work with and wonderfully expandable. Many thanks!
